# AR Drawing vs Re Message

The clearest difference is monetization model: Re Message at free with in-app purchases against AR Drawing's subscription. Re Message also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). AR Drawing's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 76). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR Drawing sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Re Message sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for AR Drawing against 4.6 for Re Message. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR Drawing has 1.2K ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of AR Drawing's written reviews are positive against 73% of Re Message's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
