# Duty vs EK Crew Rest

The clearest difference is update cadence: Duty at every 3 days against EK Crew Rest's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duty sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year and EK Crew Rest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Duty ships an update every 3 days, EK Crew Rest monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
