# SayCheese vs Remote Camera Control via Air

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Remote Camera Control via Air at 70% against SayCheese's 20%. Remote Camera Control via Air also leads on ads (none vs shown). SayCheese's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SayCheese sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Remote Camera Control via Air sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SayCheese holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of SayCheese's written reviews are positive against 70% of Remote Camera Control via Air's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SayCheese ships an update every 4 days, Remote Camera Control via Air every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
