# MejorCDT vs +Ecopetrol

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MejorCDT at 85% against +Ecopetrol's 0%. MejorCDT also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (26 vs 1). +Ecopetrol's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

+Ecopetrol holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MejorCDT has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of MejorCDT's written reviews are positive against 0% of +Ecopetrol's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MejorCDT ships an update every 2 weeks, +Ecopetrol every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
