# ICECO vs Blue

The clearest difference is rating: ICECO at 2.0 against Blue's 1.0. ICECO also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (38 vs 1). Blue's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ICECO asks for nothing beyond the download.

ICECO holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ICECO has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of ICECO's written reviews are positive against 50% of Blue's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ICECO ships an update every 3 weeks, Blue monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
