# 简谱大师 vs Notation

The clearest difference is ads: 简谱大师 at none against Notation's shown. 简谱大师 also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Notation's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 73%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 简谱大师 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Notation sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notation holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 简谱大师 has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of 简谱大师's written reviews are positive against 100% of Notation's.

简谱大师 ships an update every 2 weeks, Notation every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
