# AR Tracing vs Mimicly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mimicly at 100% against AR Tracing's 38%. Mimicly also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). AR Tracing's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR Tracing sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Mimicly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AR Tracing holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR Tracing has 2.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of AR Tracing's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mimicly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AR Tracing ships an update every 3 weeks, Mimicly every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
