# BeeBot vs Slingshot

The clearest difference is rating: BeeBot at 4.2 against Slingshot's 3.4. Slingshot's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 33%) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BeeBot holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of BeeBot's written reviews are positive against 75% of Slingshot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeeBot ships an update every 3 weeks, Slingshot daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
