# Flashcards Maker vs FlashCards

Flashcards Maker and FlashCards both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FlashCards's written reviews are positive against 24% of Flashcards Maker's. FlashCards also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Flashcards Maker's advantage is ratings volume (34 vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcards Maker sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and FlashCards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashCards holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcards Maker has 34 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Flashcards Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of FlashCards's.

Flashcards Maker ships an update every 6 weeks, FlashCards fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
