# AtFirst vs dab

The clearest difference is update cadence: AtFirst at every 2 days against dab's weekly. AtFirst also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AtFirst sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and dab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AtFirst ships an update every 2 days, dab weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
