# Authenticator App vs My Device Finder

The clearest difference is rating: Authenticator App at 4.3 against My Device Finder's 3.1. Authenticator App also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). My Device Finder's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Authenticator App sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and My Device Finder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
