# SuperFan vs Dilemma

The clearest difference is rating: Dilemma at 5.0 against SuperFan's 1.6. Dilemma also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). SuperFan's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dilemma holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperFan has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SuperFan ships an update every 4 weeks, Dilemma weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
