# Fable Playhouse vs Merge Lines

The clearest difference is ads: Fable Playhouse at none against Merge Lines's shown. Merge Lines's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fable Playhouse sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Merge Lines sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fable Playhouse ships an update every 2 months, Merge Lines every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
