# Rosebud vs Stumble App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Stumble App at free against Rosebud's freemium. Stumble App also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Rosebud's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 9) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rosebud sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month and Stumble App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rosebud holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rosebud has 3.4K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Rosebud's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stumble App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rosebud ships an update weekly, Stumble App every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
