# Ship Simulator vs RingDash

The clearest difference is update cadence: RingDash at every 3 days against Ship Simulator's every 2 weeks. Ship Simulator's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ship Simulator sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and RingDash sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ship Simulator ships an update every 2 weeks, RingDash every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
