# OnAir Client vs Kurd Keyboard

The clearest difference is ads: OnAir Client at none against Kurd Keyboard's shown. OnAir Client also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Kurd Keyboard's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnAir Client sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Kurd Keyboard sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OnAir Client holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of OnAir Client's written reviews are positive against 87% of Kurd Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OnAir Client ships an update fortnightly, Kurd Keyboard every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
