# The Tasker vs TaskMaster Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Tasker at every 3 days against TaskMaster Plus's every 8 months. The Tasker also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Tasker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TaskMaster Plus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
