# Soakstream vs Journal Assistant

The clearest difference is ads: Soakstream at none against Journal Assistant's shown. Journal Assistant's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soakstream sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month and Journal Assistant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
