# RapidObs3 vs Smarter Day

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smarter Day at every 10 days against RapidObs3's every 11 months. RapidObs3's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RapidObs3 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Smarter Day sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RapidObs3 ships an update every 11 months, Smarter Day every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
