# RiceballDb vs Kansō

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kansō at every 2 days against RiceballDb's weekly. Kansō also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RiceballDb ships an update weekly, Kansō every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
