# PIQR vs Event+

The clearest difference is ads: Event+ at none against PIQR's shown. PIQR's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 12 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PIQR ships an update monthly, Event+ every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on June 22, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
