# EtherMail vs MyTier

The clearest difference is ads: EtherMail at none against MyTier's shown. EtherMail also leads on ratings volume (408 vs 9) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MyTier's advantage is review sentiment (96% vs 71%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for EtherMail against 4.6 for MyTier. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EtherMail has 408 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of EtherMail's written reviews are positive against 96% of MyTier's.

EtherMail ships an update every 2 weeks, MyTier every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
