# PonyPlus by MCTA vs R.U.N Transportation

The clearest difference is monetization model: R.U.N Transportation at free against PonyPlus by MCTA's free with in-app purchases. R.U.N Transportation also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). PonyPlus by MCTA's advantage is ratings volume (142 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

R.U.N Transportation holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PonyPlus by MCTA has 142 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
