# Chat DNE vs Daopen

The clearest difference is ads: Chat DNE at none against Daopen's shown. Chat DNE also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat DNE sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Daopen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
