# ShootOnTime vs USPSA App

The clearest difference is rating: ShootOnTime at 4.9 against USPSA App's 3.7. ShootOnTime also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 3). USPSA App's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShootOnTime holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShootOnTime has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ShootOnTime ships an update weekly, USPSA App every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
