# Element Wallet vs Sweep

The clearest difference is rating: Sweep at 5.0 against Element Wallet's 1.8. Element Wallet's advantage is ratings volume (178 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sweep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Element Wallet has 178 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Element Wallet ships an update weekly, Sweep every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
