# Mi Speaks vs SoundScriptPro

The clearest difference is monetization model: SoundScriptPro at free against Mi Speaks's free with in-app purchases. SoundScriptPro also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Mi Speaks's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mi Speaks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SoundScriptPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mi Speaks ships an update fortnightly, SoundScriptPro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
