# PAUSED vs DEApp

The clearest difference is update cadence: DEApp at every 5 days against PAUSED's fortnightly. PAUSED's advantage is ratings volume (68 vs 8). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PAUSED sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and DEApp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for PAUSED against 4.5 for DEApp. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PAUSED has 68 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of PAUSED's written reviews are positive against 61% of DEApp's.

PAUSED ships an update fortnightly, DEApp every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
