# PAUSED vs Super App Lock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Super App Lock at 85% against PAUSED's 58%. Super App Lock also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 68) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PAUSED sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Super App Lock sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super App Lock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super App Lock has 2.4K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of PAUSED's written reviews are positive against 85% of Super App Lock's.

PAUSED ships an update fortnightly, Super App Lock every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
