# Chore Focus vs TimeTaps

The clearest difference is price: Chore Focus at Free against TimeTaps's $4.99. Chore Focus also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (55 vs 3). TimeTaps's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Chore Focus is free to download; TimeTaps costs $4.99 up front. Chore Focus sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and TimeTaps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Chore Focus against 5.0 for TimeTaps. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chore Focus has 55 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Chore Focus's written reviews are positive against 100% of TimeTaps's.

Chore Focus ships an update every 3 days, TimeTaps fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
