# Chore Focus vs DiceDay

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chore Focus at every 3 days against DiceDay's monthly. Chore Focus also leads on iOS requirement (16.1.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chore Focus sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and DiceDay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chore Focus ships an update every 3 days, DiceDay monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
