# AR vs Jamistry

The clearest difference is ads: AR at none against Jamistry's shown. AR also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Jamistry sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AR ships an update every 8 days, Jamistry every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
