# Mackenthun’s vs Waggle

The clearest difference is rating: Waggle at 5.0 against Mackenthun’s's 3.7. Waggle also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (86 vs 3). Mackenthun’s's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Waggle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Waggle has 86 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mackenthun’s ships an update every 6 weeks, Waggle fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
