# Speed reading vs ReadBlitz

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ReadBlitz at none against Speed reading's 3. ReadBlitz also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Speed reading's advantage is ratings volume (143 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed reading sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. ReadBlitz asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReadBlitz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed reading has 143 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
