# Speed reading vs ReaderPro

The clearest difference is rating: Speed reading at 4.7 against ReaderPro's 1.0. Speed reading also leads on review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and ratings volume (143 vs 1). ReaderPro's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed reading sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ReaderPro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed reading holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed reading has 143 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
