# Speed reading vs Schulte Pro

The clearest difference is price: Speed reading at Free against Schulte Pro's $1.99. Speed reading also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Schulte Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Speed reading ships an update every 5 weeks, Schulte Pro every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
