# PTCB PTCE Exam Prep Test vs PTCE Prep

The clearest difference is monetization model: PTCB PTCE Exam Prep Test at free with in-app purchases against PTCE Prep's subscription. PTCB PTCE Exam Prep Test also leads on ratings volume (448 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). PTCE Prep's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PTCB PTCE Exam Prep Test sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and PTCE Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PTCE Prep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PTCB PTCE Exam Prep Test has 448 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
