# Safeview vs Project Pulse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Project Pulse at none against Safeview's 10. Project Pulse also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). Safeview's advantage is ratings volume (806 vs 1) and chart position (#147 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Safeview sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Project Pulse asks for nothing beyond the download.

Project Pulse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Safeview has 806 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Safeview ships an update every 2 months, Project Pulse every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
