# TopGuru vs GWSMARTBT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GWSMARTBT at none against TopGuru's 30. GWSMARTBT also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 29%). TopGuru's advantage is chart position (#127 vs unranked) and ratings volume (412 vs 67). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopGuru sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. GWSMARTBT asks for nothing beyond the download.

TopGuru holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopGuru has 412 ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of TopGuru's written reviews are positive against 46% of GWSMARTBT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TopGuru ships an update every 3 weeks, GWSMARTBT every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
