# TopGuru vs AVAPOW

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AVAPOW at none against TopGuru's 10. AVAPOW also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). TopGuru's advantage is ratings volume (413 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopGuru sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. AVAPOW asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.5 for TopGuru against 3.5 for AVAPOW. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopGuru has 413 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TopGuru ships an update every 3 weeks, AVAPOW every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
