# Vital vs Trekle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trekle at none against Vital's 3. Trekle also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 18 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vital sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Trekle asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vital ships an update every 18 months, Trekle every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
