# OVR Connect vs Velocity Baseball

The clearest difference is rating: Velocity Baseball at 5.0 against OVR Connect's 4.0. OVR Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Velocity Baseball holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OVR Connect has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OVR Connect ships an update every 10 days, Velocity Baseball monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
