# TopInfrared vs MakeID Label Pro

The clearest difference is rating: TopInfrared at 3.5 against MakeID Label Pro's 2.7. TopInfrared also leads on ratings volume (48 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). MakeID Label Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TopInfrared sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MakeID Label Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

TopInfrared holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopInfrared has 48 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of TopInfrared's written reviews are positive against 47% of MakeID Label Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TopInfrared ships an update every 3 weeks, MakeID Label Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
