# Scooter Tools vs VMAX E

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VMAX E at none against Scooter Tools's 7. VMAX E also leads on ads (none vs shown). Scooter Tools's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scooter Tools sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. VMAX E asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.1 for Scooter Tools against 3.0 for VMAX E.
