# StarMet vs Solara

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StarMet at 78% against Solara's 13%. StarMet also leads on rating (4.1 vs 1.5) and ratings volume (85 vs 13). Solara's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StarMet sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and Solara sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StarMet holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarMet has 85 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of StarMet's written reviews are positive against 13% of Solara's.

StarMet ships an update every 4 weeks, Solara weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
