# BF Home vs Vododex

The clearest difference is rating: Vododex at 5.0 against BF Home's 2.6. Vododex also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). BF Home's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vododex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BF Home has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BF Home ships an update every 2 months, Vododex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
