# A vs Prevail Coffee

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Prevail Coffee at 116 against A's 9. A's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for A against 5.0 for Prevail Coffee. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prevail Coffee has 116 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

A ships an update every 2 weeks, Prevail Coffee every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
