# Locatewise vs TouchShort

The clearest difference is ads: Locatewise at none against TouchShort's shown. Locatewise also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). TouchShort's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locatewise sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and TouchShort sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Locatewise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TouchShort has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Locatewise ships an update every 6 days, TouchShort every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
