# Sandflow vs Applock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sandflow at every 9 days against Applock's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sandflow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Applock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sandflow ships an update every 9 days, Applock every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
