# The Secret vs Random Picker

The clearest difference is ads: The Secret at none against Random Picker's shown. The Secret also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 13 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Secret sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Random Picker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Secret ships an update every 9 days, Random Picker every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
